Tractor-Trailers– The combination of a tractor-unit and a goods-carrying trailer. The connection between the two parts can bend to help the vehicle manoeuvre turns and corners.

Tippers– All trucks with a rear load body which can be raised at its front end, thus enabling a load to be discharged instantly at its rear. Common for construction and mining requirements such as sand, rocks, coal etc.

Today, we’re BS6-ready to meet every industry’s need. When we recalibrated our MHCV range for BS6, our aim was to lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and improve the revenue potential of fleet operators. Our BS6 range has been configured with high performance engines, heavy duty aggregates, comfortable cabins, load bodies and other value-enhancing features.
The New Generation Telematics on our trucks offer real-time data about vehicle performance, fuel-consumption, engine idling, route-tracking, and reckless driving, enhanced by fuel-theft alerts and geo-fencing – all combining to enhance fleet utilisation, vehicle productivity and reduce vehicle operation expenses.
Then there are Tata Motors’ Sampoorna Seva service offerings – warranty, maintenance, spares, repairs, resale, vehicle tracking and monitoring, loyalty rewards and driver accident insurance. Customised Annual Maintenance Contracts and Fleet Management solutions ensure higher uptime and higher productivity, at lower costs. Speaking of drivers, who are key players in a vehicle’s productivity, their welfare is taken care of through the Tata Samarth initiative.
